Elke Grunwald, is paddling now for over 20 years. Since more than 10 years it is her favorite passion to paddle on saltwater, mostly around the eastfrisian islands at the North Sea.
As she loves to bring others into paddling, she became a certified trainer and leader sea of the SALZWASSERUNION and is doing trainings- and qualification courses, as well as guiding trips.

She is one of the organisers of the first women seakayak symposium „Meeresleuchten“ in Germany, which will be held from 16.07. – 22.07.2023.
