Bernhard Hillejan, started Sea Kayaking in 1991. Later he achieved all the group leading, coaching, and assessing qualifications of the Salzwasser Union, the German Sea Kayaking Federation, and the 5-Star Sea of the BCU. He is regularly attending the German and Anglesey Sea Symposia, and paddled many of the rugged European coastlines…
Bernhard did participate at all Pagaia Symposiums.
Special interests: Winter and night paddling, organising and supervising the annual trainings for the Salzwasser Union’s board of instructors, getting together with sea kayakers from different countries. After all climbing the steps towards this amphibious way of life.
